Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in performing heat treatment processes and procedures under the guidance of senior technicians.
  • Set up and operate heat treatment equipment, ensuring proper temperature and recordings.
  • Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
  • Assist in monitoring and documenting heat treatment processes, including recording temperatures, durations, and other relevant data.
  • Perform basic maintenance and calibration of heat treatment and other industrial equipment.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient and safe operation of equipment and adherence to project timelines.
  • Travel to client sites for on-site heat treatment and field service work as needed.
  • Maintain and create a clean, safe, and organized shop environment and work area.
  • Follow all safety protocols.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn heat treatment and field machining techniques and procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites and work in various environments, including industrial settings and outdoor conditions.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform manual tasks as required.
  • Basic computer skills for data recording and reporting.

Additional Information

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical or vocational training in a related field (e.g., metallurgy, materials science, industrial maintenance).
  • Experience or knowledge of heat treatment processes and equipment.
  • Certification in heat treatment or related fields.
