• Perform various machining techniques such as, pipe cutting, beveling, flange resurfacing, drilling, tapping, milling motor, pump bases, line boring, key-way cutting, shaft turning, etc.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawings to understand project specifications.
• Familiar and able to maintain proper safety procedures and equipment.
• Work in indoor and outdoor plant environments.
• Comfortable working in loud work areas.
• Wear safety equipment as required.

• High school diploma, GED, Apprenticeship, Trade School.
• Proven experience as a Field Machinist, preferably in heavy industrial or power generation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Good communication and time-management skills.

• Must be willing to travel to client sites and work independently.
• TWIC, OSHA 10/30 is a plus. We can work with the right candidates to obtain these.
